Schedule
Each academic year consists of two semesters of twenty classes each, for a total of forty classes per year. Students attend one 50-minute class per week. The program is year-round. Tuition
Tuition for Mighty Musicians and Keyboard Kids is $85 per month, with the first payment due in August. Though there are few classes in August, this payment covers the cost of music and registration for the upcoming year and is non-refundable except when no suitable class is available. Students who register in September must still pay the August music/registration payment. There is no additional fee for music.
Tuition payments do not reflect the number of lessons in a month, but are the annual tuition, music fee and registration fee divided into 12 equal monthly payments, paid August through July. Payment may be made online by bank draft or credit card.

Late Payment Penalty
Payment is due the first day of each month. Payments received after the tenth of the month incur a $10 late fee. After two late payments, an automatic recurring payment plan will be required. Failure to pay the late payment penalty and the current tuition payment before the 30th of the month will necessitate dismissal of the student.
Make-ups, Refunds and Discontinuing Lessons
Regularly attending their own class provides your child with consistency and familiarity and adds to the synergy of the class. We do not guarantee make-ups or give refunds for missed classes. If you must miss a class, you may attend another in its place if one is available. Alternatively, you and your child may watch the online class video. Links to the online class videos will be distributed by the class teachers. Please contact us in advance, if possible, via email to check for available alternate class times. Students who miss class are expected to keep up with the class practice schedule.
Thirty days written notice via email is required if you decide to discontinue lessons.
Transfer Students
Students who have taken lessons previously at another studio must audition to determine proper class placement. Students should be prepared to play one piece they already know and also to sight-read one piece chosen by the instructor. Please email to schedule an audition at least two weeks prior to the beginning of classes.

Attendance
- Parents are expected to know what is taught in each lesson and work with their child at home every day between lessons to complete homework assignments and reinforce what is being taught. For this reason, parents are expected to accompany students to class. Parents do not need any prior musical training. They learn with the child. This is also a great opportunity to spend one-on-one time with your child.
- Please do not bring siblings to class if at all possible. If siblings must accompany the student, there is a waiting area for them opposite the classroom. Please bring a quiet activity for them. Electronic devices must have headphones.
- Parents should participate in class with their child. Cell phones should be turned off and put away.
- Students are expected to come to class well-prepared and with all necessary materials.
- To minimize disruptions please have your child get a drink or go to the restroom prior to class.
- No food or drinks are allowed at the keyboards.
