The studio:
Here is a picture of the studio at the Austin Piano School. Each student has their own keyboard to play during class. The area to the right with the carpet is where we have game time.
Beth Parks is the owner and primary instructor of the Austin Piano School. She has been playing the piano for 40 years and teaching piano to children for over 13 years. She is a certified instructor in the Mayron Cole Piano Method. She has played for numerous choirs, soloists and instrumentalists. She is also an accomplished flutist and played with the Austin Symphonic Band for 10 years, including performances in Chicago and New Orleans. When she is not playing the piano or teaching, she enjoys spending time with her husband and four children, playing softball, camping and hiking. She also loves to sew.
